Install TallyReel
Three short steps on either system. The first launch downloads the AI models once (3 to 6.5 GB), so start it on a good connection — or skip most of it by using your own AI key for scripts. Voice cloning and talking hosts are extra one-time downloads you only get if you use them (about 3.5 GB each).
On a Mac

Drag it into Applications
Open the TallyReel .dmg from your purchase email, then drag TallyReel onto the Applications folder.

Allow it the first time
Open TallyReel from Applications. macOS says it can't verify the developer: click Done. Then open System Settings → Privacy & Security, scroll down to the message about TallyReel, click Open Anyway and confirm with your password. You only do this once.

Download the models
TallyReel opens on a setup screen. Click Download models and keep it open until it finishes.
Needs a Mac with Apple silicon (M1 or newer) running macOS 13 or later.
On Windows

Run the installer
Open TallyReel setup .exe from your purchase email.

Get past SmartScreen
If Windows shows "Windows protected your PC", click More info, then Run anyway. Follow the installer and launch TallyReel at the end.

Download the models
TallyReel opens on a setup screen. Click Download models and keep it open until it finishes.
Needs 64-bit Windows 10 or 11. 16 GB of memory recommended.
Activate your license

Open Settings
In TallyReel, click Settings, or the trial badge at the top right.

Paste your key
Copy the license key from your purchase email, paste it under License and click Activate. That's it: unlimited videos on that computer.
Moving to a new computer? Click Deactivate on this computer in Settings first, then activate on the new one.
Why the warning?
Apple and Microsoft show that message for apps that aren't signed with their paid developer certificates. TallyReel is made by an independent developer and isn't signed yet. The app you download is the same either way, and the warning only appears the first time you open it.
